Deflating. When pretending to be happy gets hard. 

This piece came from a place of grief. The kind of grief that makes your world stop. Everything around you keeps going and you know there are people out there experiencing some of the happiest moments of their lives. You try to continue to put one foot in front of the other but the more you try the harder it seems.

This piece represents my efforts to remain floating, to find happy moments, to live with my hurt. 

This is the most vulnerable piece I’ve ever made and I hope it finds the perfect home ♡
